Home to nearly 16 miles of America's most pristine undeveloped ocean beaches, dunes and marshlands, Ocracoke Island is part of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore. Nestled at the southernmost point of the famed Outer Banks of North Carolina, Ocracoke is only accessible from the mainland by auto-ferry, airplane, or private boat.

The historic fishing village was established in the early 1700s and today is home to about 800 year-round residents. The Village offers a rich and colorful history along with most of the conveniences and services of a world-class vacation destination.
