Welcome to The Moss House, Washington North Carolinas Premier Bed and Breakfast. Located one block from the Pamlico River this beautiful 1902 Victorian home provides gracious accommodations in the heart of historic downtown Washington. No fluff and frills, we have a comfortable eclectic style with original artwork, antiques and coastal touches. A short walk leads to the waterfront River walk, town docks, a sailing school and marina, specialty shops, wonderful art galleries and a variety of restaurants. The Moss House is also on the city's self-guided historic walking tour, books are provided by us for your use.

The Moss House features a full breakfast highlighted by Southern favorites with a gourmet touch. These entrées, accented by freshly ground Organic Moss House Blend coffee roasted for us by Cackalacky Coffee, seasonal fruits, and homemade baked goods, will prepare you for a full day, whether your agenda calls for leisure or business pursuits.
