Thirty six beautiful acres with two stocked fishing lakes, outdoor stage and pavilion, "Seafood by the Lakes" restaurant, lots of shade, 53 full service hookups with water, sewer and 02/30/50 amp electric on each site, showers and restrooms for rough camping.

The campground is a beautiful site and has been the location for outdoor weddings, wedding receptions, family and school reunions and gospel events. Ducks Unlimited holds their Green Wing program for kids here in May, and several RV clubs are now listing Laurel Lakes as one of their club stopping points. It is a wonderful place to meet new friends and fellowship with old ones.

Enjoy Bluegrass every Friday night with a "jam" session inside the "Seafood By the Lakes" restaurant on the Bear's Den stage. Bring your instrument and join in the jam. Everyone is invited. There is no cost for the jam with the purchase of an entrée from the menu. There is a $5.00 cover charge without an entrée. Around the midpoint of picking from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. there is a cake celebration for birthday, anniversary, graduation, or any special event. The cakes, cobblers, or home made ice cream are free and made in the restaurant.

Every Saturday night there is a bluegrass band in the restaurant performing from 7-9 p.m. There is a $5.00 cover charge for each admission with or without an entrée purchase. The grounds are used by Grassroots Productions, Inc. each quarter to host their annual bluegrass festivals. The season begins with the 5th annual spring festival. This festival is held the first weekend after April 15th each year. Tax season has just ended and everyone is ready for the festivals to begin, so jump right in and get the bluegrass season started out right!
