Indian Creek Campground ( Cherokee )

Check or add customer reviews

Indian Creek Campground is located in the North Carolina mountains on the Cherokee Indian Reservation at the southern edge of the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. The campground is secluded, rustic, heavily wooded and nestled on 88 acres between 3 mountain tops.
We have 2 beautiful fast running creeks cascading through the campground. The larger creek, Bunches Creek, is open for fishing and is stocked with trout 2 times a week by the Tribal Fish and Game Management Program. We sell the necessary tribal fishing permits. Campers can trout fish right from their creek-side campsite. Indian Creek Campground also makes a perfect base camp for day trips in all directions - Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge (Dollywood), Franklin (ruby mining), Maggie Valley (Ghost Town in the Sky), Bryson City (river rafting and Great Smoky Mountains Railway) and numerous hiking trails throughout the park. The best things to see in Cherokee are the Cherokee Indian Museum (open all year), the Living Indian Village and Unto These Hills Outdoor Drama (in season).

If you wish to stay with us at Indian Creek Campground in Cherokee, North Carolina, please make reservations well in advance, especially if you want a creek-side site. We do require a 1-night deposit.
